Options

On 27 September 2007 options on Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. shares were introduced on the NYSE Liffe options exchange in Amsterdam, enabling both professional traders and private investors to trade in Boskalis options. The value of the options is partly determined by the Boskalis share value.

The BOS option class, consisting of option series issued by NYSE Liffe, includes various expiration dates and strike prices. To guarantee trading in these series, the Amsterdam options exchange uses market makers who continuously publish the bid and ask prices for the options they wish to buy or sell in each series. This enables both professional and private investors to buy or sell options at competitive prices at all times.
