Special equipment
Boskalis is able to develop tailor-made equipment to meet the specific needs of individual projects. Examples include:
- Yarra Tree
- the ripper draghead specially developed for the Port of Melbourne project, as well as the Yarra tree, also developed for this project.
- Boskalis Dolman’s mobile soil washing plant (MSWP) which is used to clean contaminated soil and dredged material and was deployed for example on the Miami River project in the U.S.
- the soil improvement equipment of our Cofra unit which speeds up the process of preparing land for building.
